Online Blood Ordering System (OBOS)

75% of hospitals in the West Midlands are now using NHSBT's online blood ordering system. 

SaBTO consent recommendations

In additon to a standard for consent and good practice guidance on retrospective patient information. The Advisory Committee on the Safety of Blood, Tissues and Organs (SaBTO) has now produced a standardised information resource for clinicians to support patient consent for blood transfusion.
