National Health Circulars

In November 2007, the Chief Medical Officer for NHS England published a new Health Circular for 'Better Blood Transfusion, Appropriate use of blood' replacing and building upon the previous two circulars published in 1998 (HSC 1998/224) and 2002 (HSC 2002/009).

Scotland
To date NHSS has not replaced the circular issued in 2003. Should they issue a new circular on 'Better Blood Transfusion' we will update the download available from this site.
